One of the simplest ways to get better at making decisions in midlife is this:

Give yourself a time limit.

When I was deciding whether to fly to Arizona, the plane’s departure time became my built-in deadline. I couldn’t circle the question forever, I had to choose. And once I honored that boundary, the right decision became clear.

You don’t need a plane ticket to create this kind of clarity. You can give yourself a deadline any time you feel stuck:

✨ “I’ll decide by Tuesday.”
✨ “I’ll sit with this for 24 hours and then choose.”
✨ “I’m giving myself until the end of the day.”

A time limit creates relief, structure, and a gentle push forward, especially if you tend to stay in the “maybe” zone much longer than you want to.

If you’re ready to feel more decisive, more grounded, and more confident in your choices, this week’s episode walks you through exactly how to do it.
